What is pib?

pib, short for php irc bot, is a robust, modular IRC bot written in PHP. It's packed with all the features you need to distribute content to other users within an IRC network.

Yep. pib is released under the GNU Public License, so you have the freedom to modify and distribute it however you want to.

Any updates? News? Documentation?

I really can't take the time to explain each update, otherwise I'd be giving away the future plans. I formally announced that I'd be starting this project on my main site, zachera.com, back in January. One of the plans I have is to document the whole project both in code and out of code, but that won't occur until at least the first version out of beta.

What's the b in the release filenames?

Beta. pib is still under beta development stages. It will continue to be in beta until it is at a stable state with a reasonably large amount of features.

I want to help! How can I?

Currently, I'm going to develop this on my own for now. If it gets to be a big project, I might start accepting developers into the project.
